  Booked 3 apartments for 3 nights for a friends wedding only to get a call saying that would be a $28,000 bond and if we could not pay that the booking would have to be cancelled. Absolutely insane.

  I booked this place on the recommendation from my daughter who stayed in January 2021. I booked a 3 bedroom for 5 adults. The room was small, one bathroom and generally old and we were very cramped. Mark the manager at no time thought to discuss this with me. He was happy to take my money $4500 @ $750 per night in full before we were even able to see the room. As soon as we saw the room i asked Mark to see what he could do to adjust things but he was not willing to discuss any alternatives and was very rude and hung up the phone on me and my husband. When we pointed things out like we don't even have a balcony he advised that the stairwell and eves was "a balcony". There were 2 seats and a coffee table outside the apartment, defiantly would not accommodate 5 adults. Also note, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE ANY VISITORS AT ANY TIME DURING YOUR STAY. When our friends arrived (a middle aged couple) Mark the manager advised them to get off the property and threatened me he would call the police and i was to pack my stuff and get out. During my stay also we had an electrical blackout - when i called Mark the manager to find out what was happening, Mark advised i should call the electrical company myself.
  My advise would be look at the room first and ask for T and C's before you pay in full.

  This place is amazing. The apartments are recently renovated to a very high standard and the view is stunning. It is very conveniently located within walking distance of shops and hotels. Management were extremely accomodating and made every effort to make our stay comfortable and I always felt covid safe here. Thanks guys.

  I have never been so compelled to write such a negative review about a place. Having never been to Byron, I decided to book a trip for my family and I for the Christmas holidays. After such a long and unpredictable year, we just needed to get away. After extensive research I settled on the Byron Bay Beachfront Apartments as it was close to the beach and local to the town centre. I booked on June 2021 for a Dec 2021 stay. I booked via Booking.com however we I rang to enquire further about the apartment, I spoke with Mark and it was you who offered to cancel my booking with booking.com in order to offer me a "better deal" and "save money". We were due to arrive on Christmas day. Upon arrival, we were met with Mark at reception who advised that he had no booking in his system. After 8 long hours of driving, all we wanted to do was unpack and relax and to be told that you had no booking was both confusing and very upsetting as it was you who supposedly arrange my booking. I showed him that money had been taken out and that it was he himself who helped me with the booking back in June 2021 as I had phone logs and text messages. Not only did he not seem apologetic and blasé, he gave us a refund (like that was going to help), couldn't find an alternative place for us of the same value and dates and did not even have the decency to offer a complimentary stay at a later date after such a monumental f#%k up! We were 8 hours away from home, stranded, on Christmas day. Its safe to say that he ruined our Christmas. Thank you for nothing, and I hope this serves as a warning for anyone looking to book at these apartments, don't.
